The Béziers rugby club reacted, this Tuesday, December 17, to the conviction of its second row Hans Nkinsi for acts of domestic violence.
“The new governance of the ASBH intends first of all to express its support for the victim. It also wants to express its dismay at the unacceptable behavior of one of its players, newly convicted, which tarnishes the image of an entire club , whose values and history are foreign to any violence”writes the club management.
This press release responds to the 18-month suspended prison sentence of second line Hans Nkinsi, this Monday, December 16, for repeat domestic violence. A previous suspended prison sentence of 10 months was revoked for six months and will be adjusted by the sentence enforcement judge.
“Defend the best interests of the club”
“It is now up to the leaders of the ASBH to decide what follow-up they wish to give to these facts, with all the necessary rigor. In full agreement with the sports manager, a decision will be taken by the end of the week , with the sole aim of defending the best interests of the club, while remaining respectful of the rights of everyone”concluded the ASBH.
The Biterrois travel this Friday, December 20 to Mont-de-Marsan as part of the 15th day of the Pro D2 championship.
