Martín Arévalo Reveals World Star Who Could Join Boca: “They Will Call Him”

Boca Juniors is beginning to make moves in the transfer market. The Xeneize club has confirmed the signing of a player for 2025, Carlos Palacios, but Juan Román Riquelme and Fernando Gago are looking for more. In this context, a name has emerged that is capturing the attention of the football world, as journalist Martín Arévalo reported.

“Boca will continue searching in the market. There will be a discussion between Riquelme and Gago. The coach has started reaching out to some players. One of them is Aníbal Moreno. South American players are being offered, and Boca is evaluating them,” Arévalo began his remarks on Radio La Red. He then spoke about Sergio Ramos.

“Ramos is a player they will call. He has been in contact with Riquelme for some time. We will see if the player sees this as a great sporting challenge. Given that he hasn’t played since May and has turned down offers, it’s possible,” the journalist asserted regarding the Spanish defender.

But he is not the only high-profile player Boca is pursuing. “Alan Velasco is a player Boca has been interested in for a while. I don’t see it as a straightforward situation. There have been calls, but the relationship with Dallas has become strained, and they were not satisfied,” Arévalo explained about the former Independiente striker.

Fernando Gago has a relationship with Sergio Ramos; they are friends. Their conversations are ongoing. “The idea of bringing him in is there,” claimed Tato, a journalist who closely follows Boca’s daily affairs at TyC Sports, regarding the potential arrival of the player, who has won everything with Real Madrid.

“I know they will talk to Sergio Ramos to see if he really wants to experience South America and Boca. First, they will discuss whether the player, who hasn’t played since May, is interested in coming to Boca, moving with his family to Argentina, and settling down, as has happened with Daniele De Rossi and other players,” Tato said.
