Ève Gilles, who was elected Miss France 2024 last year, will participate in Dancing with the Stars this year.

MISS FRANCE – Barely the time to hand over her crown to Angélique Angarni-Filopon, she is already on her way to a new experience. Miss France 2024, Ève Gilles, found her replacement on Saturday December 14, during the Miss ceremony, again and again presented by Jean-Pierre Foucault. But she also had a big surprise, that of being offered live to participate in the cult TF1 dance show, Dancing with the Stars.

At the Arena Futuroscope on Saturday December 14, Ève Gilles formalized her participation in the 14th season of telecrochet presented by Camille Combal. It was the dancer Fauve Hautot, face of the show and member of the Miss France jury, who turned to her and asked her if she would like to participate in DALS. Miss France 2024 responded in the affirmative, and Fauve Hautot then wished her “welcome to the adventure”.

“Are you ready to dance with me?” »replied Miss France 2024, addressing Jean-Pierre Foucault. According to TF1, Ève Gilles had always dreamed of participating in Dancing with the Stars. This dance enthusiast, elected Miss -Pas-de- in October 2023 and originally from a small village near , even gave dance lessons to children before being crowned beauty queen, specifies TF1. The channel formalized Ève Gilles' participation in DALS in a press release.

Not the first Miss of DALS

She is not the first Miss to participate in the dance competition since Iris Mittenaere had, for example, taken part in the ninth season of DALS alongside Anthony Colette. Élodie Gossuin and Valérie Bègue also participated in the show.

Each year, there are generally a dozen candidates who compete on the arm of their partner in Dancing with the stars. Tango, jive, cha-cha-cha, salsa, contemporary, quick step, slow fox, waltz, paso doble, rumba… Here are all the dances that the candidates must try to master during the show.

Their performances will once again be rated this year by a jury made up of dance professionals. Last year, it was made up of Chris Marquès, Fauve Hautot, Jean-Marc Généreux and Mel Charlot. We still don't know if it will change. Same thing for the moment regarding the casting of dancers.
