Sublime days belong to those who pose RTT!
Rebelote today by skating, in Autrans this time.
The experience begins as soon as you pass the Col de la Croix Perrin, sublime with its snow-covered trees! Arriving at the Sure car park, the car announces… -12 degrees! I like !
And like the day before, cold, well-packed snow, the Gève plateau is a real freezer, and that's what makes this session exceptional! The area is well groomed, I try my luck as far as the village of Autrans, but lack of luck, the grooming stops at the road ???? I also wanted to try my luck at the top of Molière via the famous panoramic track, but same, not groomed. The sublime landscapes throughout the Alps will be for next time.
No matter, there's no one there, the landscapes are sublime, the snow is great, the snow groomers come and go which allows you to ski on new ground almost on every slope.
By mid-morning, the sun was strong, stripping the southern faces of the trees of their magnificent coat of snow. In the north, things don't move. The snow doesn't transform on the slopes (ok, a little bit, but who am I to nitpick?).
Another perfect day.
