Convicted in 1997 for the quadruple murder of his brother, his sister-in-law and his two nieces, Dany Leprince continues to proclaim his innocence.
Dany Leprince is back in court to clear his name. Convicted since 1997 of the quadruple murder of his brother, his sister-in-law and his two nieces, killed with a chopper, he continues to proclaim his innocence. “I am not the author of the facts, nor an accomplice”, he assured. The police suspected him from the start of the investigation. In police custody, Dany Leprince admitted to a first murder, before retracting his statement.
He is sentenced to life imprisonment, with 22 years of security. Three years later, a counter-investigation allowed the trial to be revised. Dany Leprince then divides his life between imprisonment and freedom. In 2012, the Court of Cassation rejected the review of the trial. Dany Leprince is released on parole under judicial supervision and is prohibited from speaking about this affair for ten years. At 66, the man hopes that his innocence will be recognized.
