Tarka Nchuka complaints alert the pigs

Residents of a number of mountainous areas in the Chtouka Ait Baha province complain about the danger of the heavy presence of wild boars, which cause severe damage to agricultural crops and threaten the safety of people, especially children and the elderly.

In the “Emkwen” area, which belongs to the Tarka Ntushka territorial community, the residents, in statements to Hespress, addressed an appeal to the authorities concerned with water and forests for urgent intervention to organize reinforcing operations to reduce the number of wild pigs.

In this regard, Abdullah Al-Musnit, a resident of the mountainous “Emkwen” region, said in communication with Hespress, “The danger of the wild boar in our region has become a daily reality, as its numbers have increased dramatically, and they are now roaming near homes, schools, and mosques, which increases From the danger of her attacks.”

He added, “The situation poses a direct threat to the lives of residents, especially children who go to school early in the morning, which raises constant anxiety and fear among residents, in addition to attacks on crops, crops, and cemeteries.”

In the face of the growing damage and dangers of large numbers of these animals, Abdullah Al-Musnit appealed to the authorities and concerned authorities to intervene immediately to “organize population operations in our region to hunt wild pigs, to protect lives and ensure the security of the population and their crops, which constitute their only source of livelihood.”
