Tous en cuisine returns to M6 with Cyril Lignac and his sidekick, Jérôme Anthony at the helm. This new season will not, however, be live like other years.
It is now a tradition for the end of year celebrations. Cyril Lignac is back on M6 with his show All in the kitchen, Holiday menus. Still alongside Jérôme Anthony, the famous chef will offer Christmas recipes accessible and ready in just 50 minutes. A challenge that he will take on every evening starting this Monday, December 2, from 6:35 p.m., with a guest present by video.
For this new edition, the sixth channel has concocted a great novelty. Jérôme Anthony will travel across France aboard his vana large food truck, which he will install in the heart of cities to follow Cyril Lignac's recipe with the residents. An atmosphere that promises to be as festive as the dishes prepared by the king of the kitchens who promises on the menu a revisited Mont-Blanc style tiramisu, a foie gras pot au feu, or even a hazelnut soufflé. An attractive program.
Cyril Lignac will no longer be live in Tous en cuisine on M6
But this food truck will not be the only big novelty in these new TV shows. Everyone in the kitchen. Guest of Culture Media on Europe 1Jérôme Anthony revealed that the program will not be broadcast live. And it is not to avoid sound bugs and technical issues. “We'll see them, we don't get a bit of what's going on, it's only for security reasons only, he revealed. We are in the middle of cities, there are a lot of people around us, a few hundredsometimes a few thousand and it's complicated to manage so many people (…) Last year, we continued to do it with a large security service following us, but despite everything, it was complicated to manage. There's always one or two who want to be smart.”
For his part, Cyril Lignac cited another explanation for the elimination of live filming. It's all a question of schedule. “I am opening a variation of my Japanese restaurant concept Le Bar des Prés in Dubai on December 6 and I must be present on site to launch the project. But that doesn't change anything for me because the shows are filmed under live conditions. There's no stopping and there's no cutting or editing“, he assured in the columns of TV Mag. Viewers will therefore only see fire.
