This Monday morning, an angry taxi protest movement begins in Lyon.
Updated at 11 a.m. : The taxis will organize a bivouac on Place Bellecour. The drivers will therefore converge on the city center at the end of the afternoon, to settle there before 7 p.m. Suffice to say that the Presqu'île sector should be avoided at all costs by car.
Article initial : To denounce the proposed new 2025-2030 agreement linking the profession to the National Health Insurance Fund (Cnam), drivers will block entrances to Lyon from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m., until Thursday inclusive.
Here are the points which will be blocked this week by taxis and which the Rhône prefecture calls for to be avoided:
• On the M6, at the Valvert interchange (Tassin-la-Demi-Lune).
• At the Noeud des Îles interchange (A42-A46-Rocade Est).
• A43, near Saint-Priest Porte-des-Alpes.
• At the interchange between the A7 and the A450.
• On the A7, near the interchange with the southern urban boulevard (D301).
Many traffic jams formed very early upstream of these blockage points. Around 1000 taxis are mobilized in the Lyon metropolitan area.
During the day, these blockages will end with snail-like operations up to Place Bellecour in Lyon.
In Isère, hundreds of taxis intend to block the tolls of Saint-Quentin-Fallavier and Reventin-Vaugris.
As a reminder, the draft new Cnam agreement provides for a reduction in pricing and should allow taxis to transport up to eight people at the same time, which would degrade the service offered to patients/customers.
