The comedian and actor spoke at length and recounted the time he cheated on his partner for three months before she discovered him but finally ended up forgiving him.

Baptiste Lecaplain is a French comedian and actor whose offbeat humor and boundless energy have nothing left to prove. The one who quickly made a place for himself on the French comedy scene made his debut in 2007 with his first one-man show, entitled Baptiste hits the poster. We saw it in particular in the series Brief by Kyan Khojandi but not only that since he played in several other films like Nous York, directed by Géraldine Nakache and Hervé Mimran, but also in Libre et asoupi, where he played the main role alongside Charlotte Le Bon and Félix Moati. The comedian returned to a rather sensitive subject that he mentioned in one of his shows: his infidelity. Aslem, his manager, organized a meeting with the one who was his ex so that they can pick up the pieces. A difficult moment that Baptise Lecaplain is likely to remember for a long time.
His partner agreed to forgive him
He explained that their reunion took place in a bar where everyone recognized him and praised him for his successes. “I see my ex outside, his eyes cold. And it’s going very badly. She tells me that if I want her back, I'll call this girl. But when I tell him it's over, he starts screaming. I don't like to be noticed, it's horrible, it's a terrible humiliation“, he confided.
The couple, who already have a child, ended up getting back together and the comedian decided a few years later to talk about his infidelity in one of his shows. He discusses with his co-author Florent Bernard and asks him “Do you think we can do something with it?”talking about the cheating episode. “He said to me: ‘oui, because it ends well' and indeed afterwards, we got back together and had our second child. But he said to me: 'On the other hand, you must not be gentle with yourself'“, he remembered.
