Chinon dances for the Telethon

The Zumba choreographies follow one another at a frantic pace, while the volunteers of the Chinonais municipal and intercommunal staff association continually serve coffee, pancakes and croque-monsieur.

Saturday November 30, 2024, the atmosphere was convivial in Chinon to raise funds for the Telethon. An event locally overseen by the association Actions en Chinonais against rare diseases (ACCMR).

Fund research “fully”

To kick off the day's festivities, Maïlys Memin, a qualified facilitator from the Crazy dance association in Bourgueil, led her ten Zumba dancers onto the improvised dance floor of the Espace Mendès-France. A successful demonstration, full of energy and good humor.

The line dancers took over in the afternoon. For the president of Crazy dance, Michel Filliau, it was obvious to respond, to finance “thoroughly” research against rare diseases.

The ACCMR already has its eyes set on the next edition of the Telethon next year. And hopes to be able to join the Espace Rabelais in Chinon so that the event is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility.
