After Sidney Govou two years ago, two former OL players will take on the challenge of SaintéLyon. In a relay of four, Maxime Gonalons and Loïc Abenzoar will attack the 82 kilometers linking the two cities.

In Décines, this Saturday day serves above all to prepare as best as possible for the arrival of Nice Sunday for the 13th day of Ligue 1. Final preparations are also being discussed for the participants in “SaintéLyon”. For this 70th edition, the number of participants has exploded since there will be 10,000 on the starting line during the night from Saturday to Sunday. All will have the objective of linking Saint-Étienne to and swallowing the 82 km separating the two rival cities. Some will do it alone, others in relay. Two years ago, Sidney Govou had joined forces with Loïc PerrinFrançois Cleric and Jeremy Clément for a half-OL, half-ASSE team. The former winger will be imitated tonight by Maxime Gonalons.

Freshly retired from the field, the former midfielder and captain of the Lyon club set out on this trail with three of his friends, including another acquaintance from OL. Trained at OL and currently athletic trainer for the reserve team, Loïc Abenzoar is part of the “Les Gones” team which will start near Saint-Etienne. Note that the preparer of theFemale OLRémi To the moneywill also explore this experience individually, as part of his project “366 challenges for cancer”.
