Like the last few days, the weather forecast for the weekend looks cool but dry. Morning frosts are expected in the north, while heat persists in the south.
November ends in the cold, but without rain. The last weekend of the month promises to be cool, particularly in the north, but also sunny and dry, according to Météo-France forecasts.
Weather without rain which can be explained by “more anticyclonic conditions”. The coolness is explained by “high pressures centered on Germany which generate cooler temperatures in the north and east of France”.
Saturday's day will however start gray in the north-west quarter, with clouds and fog which will persist in the afternoon along the Garonne, Poitou-Charente, Val de-Loire, Lyonnais, Val de Saône or the Alsace plain.
The south is not spared, with hazy skies over Provence and the Côte d'Azur. In the afternoon, the sun will shine over the northeast and between the Massif Central and the Pyrenees.
Very contrasting temperatures
Temperatures will be cool with morning frosts in the northeast. it will be between -5 and -2°C on the Lorraine plateau, Champagne, Burgundy and even Alsace. During the day, temperatures will vary greatly: it will be between 3 to 5°C in the east, notably 2°C in Strasbourg and between 17 to 22°C in the southwest. 8°C are expected in Paris, 15°C in Brest, 7°C in Lille, 14°C in Nice, 15°C in Marseille and Toulouse.
On Sunday, the sky will still be cloudy in the northwest, with a few showers possible over Brittany. In the east, possible morning frosts may still be expected, and temperatures will remain very cool in the region. In the afternoon, the sun will shine in the southwest, the Côte d'Azur and Corsica.
Temperatures will remain roughly the same, with the south gaining between an additional 2 and 3°C. It will be 7°C in Paris, 15°C in Brest, 2°C in Strasbourg, 6°C in Lille, 15°C in Nice and Toulouse, 16°C in Marseille. Up to 22°C are expected in Biarritz, and 23°C in Tarbes.
