Estillac. The Telethon is off to take on a new challenge

Like every year, Estillac hosts the Telethon and its unmissable village. Many activities are planned throughout the weekend for this 20th anniversary, and it's for a good cause. This year, the godmother of the event is none other than Julie Vicente, Miss Lot-et-Garonne. From November 29 to December 1, the volunteers mobilized around President Martine Carbonnelle and the Estillac town hall will be on war footing.

Here is the program of the festivities

-Friday November 29: opening ceremony from 7 p.m. with Carole, Mr Bang and the Kaprice Duo. A ball will also be part of the celebration. Stands, including the sale of cakes and prunes from and the Magali Pairault boutique, will be present for the occasion.

-Saturday November 30: breakfast at 8 a.m.; sporting challenges in the multisports hall all day long with rugby, football, basketball, yoga, gymnastics, aerobics (with Coralie Gimenez), cheerdance with the Fire Fly Cheerleading (with Ophélie Campan), judo with the judokas from the Roquefort-Sainte-Colombe agreement; musical entertainment to the rhythm of Moca Dékalé percussion from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the village hall; soups from great chefs from midday (and non-stop) in the village hall; the big mountain bike departure for all with Claude Berjaud (information by telephone on 06 33 53 63 75); folk dances from the village of Réaup-Lisse at 5:30 p.m.; village entertainment with the Sans Soucis band at 6 p.m.; aperitif and birthday speech by the mayor of Estillac Jean-Marc Gilly at 7:30 p.m.; induction into the brotherhood at 8 p.m.; the start of the musical evening and meal with Jean-Marc Delrieux from 8:30 p.m.; and musical entertainment until the end of the evening by the Sans Soucis band.

-Sunday December 1: breakfast at 8 a.m. in the sports hall; Telethon challenge and Great Walk of Hope at 9 a.m. (information on 06 73 44 59 13); musical entertainment with saxophonist Honorine Argento at 10 a.m.; mass for the sick at 10:30 a.m. followed by a friendly aperitif; then the big lotto at 2:30 p.m. with numerous prizes and vouchers up to 200 euros (suitable for the visually impaired).
