A cyclist, aged in his 20s, has died nearly two weeks after he was involved in a road traffic accident in Dublin.
The man had been ‘seriously injured’ following the collision which took place on the N11 at the junction with Johnstown Road shortly before 5pm on Thursday, November 14.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene, with the cyclist transferred to Beaumont Hospital where his condition was ‘serious.’

A statement from An Garda Síochána confirmed that the male passed away from the injuries sustained in the accident.
They said: ‘The cyclist, a man aged in his 20s, passed away from his injuries yesterday, Tuesday, 26th November 2024.’
In the statement, Gardaí also renewed their appeal for witnesses.
‘Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí,’ they said.
