An injured person in León capital after being hit by a car in the University area. The event took place around 7:32 p.m. on Monday, November 25, when the man was crossing a pedestrian crossing.
The pedestrian was crossing Joaquín González Vecin Street when he was hit by a car. After the impact, the man fell to the ground and his head hit the curb, as reported by the alerters to the Castilla y León 112 Emergency Service in their call. Other witnesses to the event have told this media that “the car dragged him several meters.”
The Local Police of the León City Council went to the scene, as well as an ambulance from the emergency service that proceeded to transfer the injured person to the León Hospital. The event took place in one of the pedestrian crossings next to the Faculty of Economics.
The man, a 50-year-old man, according to the sources consulted, remains stable although further details of the scope or severity of the incident are not yet known.
