“Perhaps I took my role as director a little too seriously”. This Sunday, November 24, Alexia Laroche-Joubert, current CEO of Banijay France (a group which brings together several production companies at the head of “Fort Boyard”, “TPMP”, “N' Forget the Lyrics”, “Koh-Lanta” …), was the guest of “Enfants de la télé” on France 2. The emblematic director of the “Star Academy” for 5 seasons looked back on her time in the program, which has been a hit since her return to TF1 in 2022.

The former director of the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys, then indulged in a confidence on the set of France 2: “There is still this sequence that I can admit now. Alexia Laroche-Joubert then said to herself that she had perhaps gone a little too hard. “And then I say to myself: 'How do I explain to them that they have to stay anyway?'”, she added, eliciting laughter from the audience and other guests.
