Two years after the horror comedy Cut!, Michel Hazanavicius returns with La Most Précieuse Des Marchandises, an animated film adapted from the novel of the same name by Jean-Claude Grumberg and narrated by Jean-Louis Trintignant.

What is it about?
Once upon a time, in a big wood, there lived a poor woodcutter and a poor woodcutter. The cold, hunger, poverty, and war everywhere around them made their lives very difficult. One day, a poor woodcutter takes in a baby. A baby thrown from one of the many trains that constantly pass through their woods.
Protected whatever the cost, this baby, this little merchandise will turn the lives of this woman, her husband, and all those who will cross her destiny, up to the man who threw her from the train, upside down. Their story will reveal the worst as well as the best of men's hearts.
