The historic center of Langres vibrated once again to the rhythm of the Sainte-Catherine fair, this Sunday, November 24. Despite the wind, the public did not miss the 871e edition of this iconic meeting in the south of the department.
A real autumn highlight in the Lingonian city, the Sainte-Catherine fair once again attracted a good number of visitors to the streets of the historic center. As usual, the majorettes from Les Hirondelles de Bourbonne-les-Bains kicked off the festivities with their demonstration and stroll to music. The public, fewer in number in the morning, was then able to wander the streets in search of good deals and take advantage of the nearly 160 exhibitors who made the trip. Some still withdrew due to the strong winds of the day, which became less turbulent in the afternoon. But not enough to spoil the party, given the still high attendance.
The public was also able to enjoy Place Diderot, now reopened, despite a small portion of work still to be completed. Place Jenson has been transformed into a refreshment center, with many very popular food stalls. The opportunity to encourage meetings between visitors, as the municipality wanted. The ice rink has also made its debut, officially launching the Christmas activities!
