Unfortunately, his return was short-lived, because from the second minute, Jalibert next left the field due to an injury, injured in the quadriceps following an impact.
A hard blow for the player and for a team which relied on its leader.
A match between determination and support

Despite this premature exit, UBB turned things around in the second period, finally winning 37-29 after having been carried out. This event, rich in twists and turns, revealed two faces of the Bordeaux team, oscillating between a failed first half and a controlled second half.
Reactions marked by solidarity
The UBB, shocked but not defeated, was able to put up a front. At the end of the meeting, Yann LesgourguesUBB scrum-half, claimed to have played for Matthieu, emphasizing team unity despite adversity.
Maxime Lafagefor his part, expressed his disappointment at the turnaround, insisting on the need to “ stay connected » to fight the caliber teams of the UBB.
It remains to be seen how the UBB will overcome the probable absence of Jalibert for the next meetings, and if this victory dedicated to their injured teammate will instill in them the necessary resilience to face the challenges to come.
One thing is certain, team spirit and solidarity would remain the unshakeable pillars of the Bordeaux-Bègles Union.
