AS Monaco beats and retains second place

The international break finally over, Ligue 1 could resume its rights this weekend with an interesting Monaco- opener. Back to six points behind the Parisian leader, the Monegasques had to win to stay in second place against Brest still looking for the first part of the table. The two teams have not played much, but remain cautious a few days before the Champions League.
