Since the launch of “Astrid and Raphaelle”, the consultant always sports the same haircut. Does Sara Mortensen, who plays Astrid, wear a wig? She answers.
It has now been several weeks since Astrid and Raphaëlle made their comeback on France 2 for season 5 of the detective series. The opportunity for Sara Mortensen and Lola Dewaere to reprise their emblematic roles for new investigations that are just as unusual.
An iconic look
Since the launch of Astrid and Raphaëlle, Sara Mortensen has worn a very particular cut to play Astrid. The actress, discovered in Plus belle la vie, wears bangs and a ponytail that have never moved, in order to reflect her character suffering from autism.
It is indeed difficult for Astrid to accept change. So she won't be going to the hairdresser tomorrow to completely change her haircut. But all this could very well have been different, as the actress explained to Télé Loisirs in a interview.
A wig to play Astrid
The most observant fans will probably not have failed to note that Sara Mortensen has appeared several times since last May on red carpets with a boyish cut.
A haircut that the actress did not necessarily choose. “I had a little hair problem”, she explained with a laugh to our colleagues.
“I had my hair and scalp burned by a hairdresser 5 days before starting season 5 of Astrid and Raphaëlle. So a little in PLS, in organ descent. End of career, end of life, end of everything.”
When we know the importance of Astrid's look in the series, this little anecdote could have had serious consequences on season 5. Luckily, the actress managed to quickly find a solution:
“Thanks to my wonderful Solange, who is Astrid and Raphaëlle's hairdresser, we traveled through thick and thin through Paris to find a wig.”
Sara Mortensen therefore indeed wears a wig in season 5 of Astrid and Raphaëlle. A subterfuge which therefore went completely unnoticed by viewers.
Catch episode 4 of Astrid and Raphaëlle this Friday, November 22 from 9:05 p.m. on France 2. For those who are more impatient, season 5 is already available in full on the france.TV platform.
