Five people were in absolute emergency after a accident “grave” occurred Thursday evening on a highway in Val-de-Marne and involving a bus, four cars and a two-wheeler, we learned Friday from the prefecture and firefighters.
One of the absolute emergency victims was “incarcerated” on the arrival of emergency services around 11:30 p.m. Thursday on the A6b motorway, near the town of Chevilly-Larue where the accident took place, a police source told AFP.
This event is “directly linked to the degraded weather conditions following the passage of the storm Caetano“, added this police source.
Some 31 people injured
According to firefighters and the Val-de-Marne prefecture contacted by AFP, 31 people were also slightly injured and were in relative emergency.
The precise circumstances of this accident were not yet known Friday morning.
Météo-France reported that 31 departments were still placed on orange alert for snow, ice and wind on Friday, in connection with the storm, compared to around fifty on Thursday.
