Roads made slippery by snow and ice caused a succession of accidents in Sarthe on the night of Thursday 21 to Friday 22 November 2024.

At 9:45 p.m. Thursday, a scooter slipped on the Pont des Tabacs at Le Mans. Its pilot, slightly injured, was transported to Le Mans hospital by the firefighters. Less than five minutes later, at La Chapelle Saint-Aubin, two cars collided on Boulevard du Général Patton. One person was also slightly injured and transported by firefighters to the Le Mans hospital center.

Four vehicles collide on the A11

The next accident, at 11:20 p.m., occurred on the A11 at Connerré where two trucks and two cars collided. Three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

At 2:30 a.m., in Tuffé, a motorist alone lost control of his car. He was slightly injured and was taken to Le Mans hospital.
