This Friday, November 22 in the morning, Corsica is still placed on orange alert for the “wind” parameter.

“For a few more hours, the gusts from the western sector remain very strong on Cap Corse (140-160 km/h, occasionally 180 km/h), in Balagne, in the region, on the crests of the central chain (100 at 130 km/h) and by surge on the eastern coast from Conca to Porto-Vecchio, where they can reach 120 to 160 km/h”indicates Météo France.

In the morning, the wind shifts to the northwest and gradually weakens. Orange vigilance is active until 10 hours. Then it will turn yellow until at least noon for that same setting.

Southern Corsica, and especially its western coast, is affected by a yellow “waves-submersion” alert until 9 p.m.
