A few more snow or rain showers

Storm Caetano has now left the country indicates the weather forecasting organization. At the back, the very clear freeze is well in place, making the roads particularly slippery, where the snow fell yesterday. A few showers of snow or mixed rain and snow are still circulating in the morning near the Channel.

Very slippery floors

In the departments remaining on orange alert, temperatures have dropped significantly, causing refreezing of the snow on the ground, making these floors very slippery also explains Météo France. Vigilance should end by this noon.

Note near the Channel snow showers or rain and snow this morning, which could therefore cause a few additional centimeters of snow specifies Météo France.

Strong winds once again expected in Corsica

In Corsica, new violent winds are expected this Friday, but the episode should be shorter and less loud than the previous one. It could still cause damage with gusts of around 100 to 130 km/h, and even 160 to 180 km/h on Cap Corse .
