An essential makeover to familiarize yourself with each Miss's hair
If this day is enough to make competition participants dream, it turns out to be crucial for hairdressers. Maxime Coudray, head of Saint Algue France training, told Gala.fr that this makeover allows them to familiarize themselves with the hair subtleties of each candidate before the day of the competition. “At the start of the preparation trip, we have a hairdresser who is already in charge of styling them for the regional presentation videos. This hairdresser gives us an initial assessment of their hair, especially in relation to the weather that day – if there was humidity, if it was hot… We list everything what you need to know about each type of hair (whether it swells or not, for example). »
Then the other experts take over during the press conference, then for the official photo and the makeover in the brand's premises. “Here again, we feed our little table with information about their hair so that on the day of the bonus we can say: “this girl has this texture and this expectation, so she must be styled like this.” Each hairdresser takes care of a Miss and therefore knows in advance what work he will have to do. » This allows them to save precious minutes behind the scenes of the election and above all, to avoid pitfalls… “There is no room for error during the prime. Everything is anticipated down to the smallest detail. We are in absolute control, it’s a live bonus, so everything is precise,” concluded the hairdresser.
