Two in orange
Among the territories cited by weather alerts, two are in orange. These are the departments of the Isle of Beauty: Upper Corsica and Southern Corsica are, in fact, on orange alert against the wind. A phenomenon which will be active from 8 hoursthis Wednesday, and at least until 8 p.m.

The bulletin mentions “a remarkable stormy wind on Corsica requiring particular vigilance”. Several intensities of gusts were mentioned by Météo France: from 120 to 140 km/h in Bastia, Conca and Bonifacio, 120 to 150 in Balagne and on the relief, and between 170 et 200 on Cape Corsica.

Alongside this bulletin, Météo France places 35 other territories in yellowalso for the wind but also for five other reasons: rain, snow, waves, avalanches and finally floods. This mainly concerns the departments located in a large part of the north and east, but also a south-west quarter since seven sectors of the Occitanie region are mentioned, in addition to the Pyrénées-Atlantiques.
