Bad times in the corsair city! In Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine), rain, wind and gray skies compete for space this Tuesday, November 19, 2025. The weather has been terrible since daybreak and an impressive high seas on the Sillon ( see video below)

Yellow alert

Just like a large part of (66 other departments are concerned), Ille-et-Vilaine has been placed on yellow alert for risks of wind, rain-flooding, waves-submersion and flooding at midday.

Gusts of up to 90 km/h being forecast, parks and gardens were closed in Saint-Malo. These are Square Jean Lemasson / Jardin des Portes Cartier, Parc Bel Air, Parc de la Briantais, Parc des Herbages and Parc du Pont Toqué. They will reopen Wednesday, November 20 at usual hours.

The town hall also asks “users of the Parc des Chênes (conservatory) to avoid driving and parking there by car”.
