“Polygone Riviera” changes its name! The open-air shopping center of Cagnes-sur-Mer is now called “Shopping promenade Riviera”. An effective name change from this Tuesday, November 19.
The announcement was made by Antoine Frey, CEO of the Frey group which took over the center at the end of 2023 from Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. “We want to make our mark”, explained Antoine Frey during his first press conference since the takeover.
Other new features announced including a bowling alley
A press conference during which he listed many new developments, starting with the installation, by the end of 2025, of a bowling alley. It will see the light of day as part of the 5,000 m² Speed park which will replace Printemps, including Nice-Morning had learned of the closure in September.
Antoine Frey also revealed the arrival of a 1,200 m² Fort Boyard leisure space, in place of Botanic, the opening of six to eight new restaurants and the expansion of several stores: JD Sports, Pull & Bear and Bershka .
The Frey group is one of the leaders in commercial real estate. Open-air shopping centers are its specialty.
