President Claudia Sheinbaum arrived this Sunday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where a new G20 summit will be held. In addition to its participation in official activities, it has already agreed several bilateral meetings with important leaders from around the world.
This is Sheinbaum’s first international tour since his inauguration on October 1: as he announced days ago, at the summit he will talk about the construction of peace in the world, with the environment and with the reduction of poverty.
“Many resources are allocated in the world for weapons. The proposal is to allocate a part of that resource to global programs and what we are proposing is that the Sowing Life program should be applied worldwide,” said the president.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) reports that, so far, the confirmed meetings that the head of the Executive will hold will be with the Presidents of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva; from France, Emmanuel Macron; and from South Korea, Yoon Suk-Yeol.
Furthermore, with the Prime Ministers of Canada, Justin Trudeau; from the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer; from India, Narendra Modi; from Japan, Shigeru Ishiba; and from Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh.
