Thierno Bocoum on participation: “It’s the first time I’ve voted without queuing”

Thierno Bocoum, candidate of the Samm Sa Kaddu coalition, voted this Sunday at the Grand Médine HLM center in Parcelles Assainies. The President of the AGIR movement criticized the participation which he considers low. “This is the first time that I have come to this center without queuing, I came and I voted peacefully. This means that the Senegalese are not out for the moment. “, he said.

Mr. Bocoum calls on voters to come out and vote: “These elections are important for democracy, they will have to choose their representatives. We call on everyone to come out en masse in peace and serenity to fulfill their civic duty. We are asking everyone to come out and choose their MPs.”

Thierno Bocoum did not fail to insist on the transparency and regularity of the vote: “There is one of the candidates who said that he can give injunctions to the Minister of Justice. There are rumors circulating about the arrests of certain candidates. We demand free and transparent elections from the administration.”
