Rains return Wednesday and Thursday in several regions of Morocco

From this Tuesday, unstable clouds sometimes accompanied by a few showers will affect the reliefs of the High Atlas and the eastern high plateaus, according to forecasts from the DGM. At night, low and dense clouds could bring a few drops of rain to the south of the Souss region and the northwest of the Saharan provinces. Furthermore, low clouds with fog formations will form on the northern and southern coasts, the central plains and the western Mediterranean shore. The south of the Oriental will also be subject to fairly strong winds which could cause dust blowing.

Under the influence of the atmospheric depression in the north of the country, showers or rains are expected Wednesday in the regions of Tangier, Loukkos and the Western Rif. Rain is also likely in the Oriental, South-East and Middle Atlas, while light precipitation could affect the Central regions, the plains west of the Atlas and the Mediterranean shore. Temperatures will experience a drop, particularly on the reliefs where the weather will become cold, and relatively strong winds will blow over the High Atlas, the Oriental and the South-East.

Thursday, rains or thunderstorms Locally moderate temperatures are expected on the Atlantic plains between El-Jadida and Essaouira. The sky will be temporarily cloudy with a few scattered raindrops possible over the Gharb, the Western Rif, the Tangier region and the rest of the northern Atlantic plains. The weather will remain cold on the Atlas reliefs, and temperatures should remain generally stable in other regions.
