Moussa Diabaté recorded his first career double-double

Moussa Diabaté is taking up more and more space in the Hornets rotation. After starting to play the rebound vacuum, the French activated the double-double mode last night against the Magic.

Moussa Diabaté had the right to the role of sixth man last night in Charlotte's defeat against Orlando. New responsibilities that the ex-Clipper took on without shaking his chin with his first double-double in his career. 12 points, 15 rebounds at 6/7 shooting, a busy evening for Mouss'.

And the first French player to come off the Hornets bench this evening?

Mr. Moussa Diabate, excellent at the start of the season.

And an offensive rebound immediately upon entry into play.

With the injury to Miles Bridges, but also to a large part of the frontcourt of the Hornets, we thought that Tidjane Salaün would have the opportunity to express himself more, but this situation benefits the other Frenchman in the Frelons squad. Coming off the bench, number 14 of the Hornets saw his minutes explode from just under 15 minutes per game to almost 30 per evening.

For almost a week, the interior has become a real rebounding machine: 15 rebounds against the Pacers in an (almost) historic performance, 11 against the 76ers and again 15 rebounds against the Magic last night.

After a rather complicated start to his career with Los Angeles, despite interesting flashes, Moussa Diabaté seems to have found his place in the NBA.

Let's hope for him that his good performances are rewarded in the long term and not just during the absence of most of Charlotte's interiors.
