London (dpa)
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola expressed his confidence in his team’s return to its usual top level soon, after suffering its fourth consecutive defeat in an unprecedented phenomenon during the Spanish coach’s reign.

City lost to Brighton 1-2 yesterday, Saturday, in the English Premier League, in the absence of six of its major stars, namely John Stones, Jeremy Doku, Robin Diaz and Jack Grealish, in addition to the long-term absentees Rodri and Oscar Pope.
Guardiola believes that the return of many first-team players after the end of the international break will herald a change in the fortunes of the defending champion. Manchester City’s official website quoted Guardiola as saying, “I will think in these ten days, we will clear our minds, and the injured players will return. This is the goal.”
He added, “When the players return, I would like to play at the level of the first half because we played well for 70 minutes.” He pointed out, “I know how we play. The level we present is really good in certain moments, but we are not able to continue for a long time.” The Spanish coach explained, “I am sure that when the players return, they can present some individual qualities in the team and we will come back stronger.”
He stressed, “We lost two matches in the English Premier League. We have to change and come back to victory.. I have no doubt that we will return to the best.” He pointed out that this is the challenge that I face and I love it. I will not back down and I want to do this more than ever before and we will try again. Other».
He stressed: “We are trying to analyze our performance in four consecutive defeats, but the question is how do we play?” Guardiola explained: “Bournemouth deserves that, but the matches were really good against Tottenham and there were many positive things in Lisbon. When we play badly, I am the first to say that, but I don’t have that feeling.”
