The start of the Vendée Globe 2024 is this Sunday, November 10 at 1:02 p.m., in Les Sables-d'Olonne. 40 skippers are in the running, a record. Among them, some dress up before setting off, creating a relaxed moment.

Disguises before setting sail

Before setting sail, some skippers dressed in a traditional way, like the Japanese Kojiro Shiraishi, or the Chinese Jingkun Xu. As for skipper Damien Seguin, he disguised himself as a pirate.
