As every year, the municipality of Graulhet will commemorate the Armistice of 1918 during the traditional ceremony of November 11, which will be held exceptionally on Saturday November 16. The mayor, as well as the entire municipal council, warmly invite the population of Graulhét, veterans' associations, local groups and all local companies to participate in this tribute. This moment of collective memory recalls the importance of coming together to honor those who gave their lives for peace. Meet at the Saint-Roch Cemetery at 10:15 a.m. for a reading of the veterans' manifesto, the ministerial message, and the Mayor's speech. This will be followed by the laying of wreaths at the war memorial, at the resistance vault, and at the stele of the dead outside France. A reception will await you at 11:15 a.m. in the Salle de la République.
The Briatexte armistice commemoration ceremony will also take place on Saturday November 16 at 12 p.m. in front of the war memorial.
As for Puybegon, Robert Cinq and the members of the municipal council have the honor of inviting you to the commemorative ceremony of November 11 on Sunday November 17. It will begin at 9 a.m. in front of the War Memorial, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony and a complimentary coffee at the end.
