Senegalese music star Wally Seck is going through a new ordeal. The artist announced the death of his wife’s mother, Sokhna Aidara, during his last concert.
Wally Seck, visibly affected, shared this sad news with his fans after his performance: “I am sad to announce the death of my mother-in-law. I am in mourning, but I wanted to honor my contract. This is why I came to come and play,” he declared, saluting the attachment to his audience despite the pain.

The singer, very popular in Senegal and within the diaspora, was supported by an emotional audience. This loss comes a few months after other ordeals that the artist went through, with the deaths of his father Thione Seck, his mother Diaga and his sister Momy Seck.
