Regarding Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski and the decision to replace him during the match: “He has 99 goals (in the Champions League). I did not know that. I would have changed him just before his 100th goal. If I had known… it is my mistake. Today was very good, but I must “We have to think about other matches.”
He continued: “It was important for us. I’m very happy, but I don’t care about these things. I’m thinking about the next match and that’s why I replaced him.”
He praised Jules Kounde, continuing: “He is a good example for the rest of the players. He has improved his performance. He is a great professional. He is very focused. I appreciate what he did. It is very good to see the assists he provided today.”
He concluded: “What I like most is that the team always goes out on the field to compete and do its best, and this shows in the results.”
