Millions of voters across the United States voted Tuesday to elect the nation’s 47th President, marking the end of one of the country’s most divisive presidential campaigns. On Monday night, both Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris made final appeals in Pennsylvania, a crucial swing state, to influence undecided voters. Polls show Harris, 60, and Trump, 78, running neck and neck. Apart from Pennsylvania, key battleground states in the election include Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. In their final rallies, the two candidates presented sharply different visions for America’s future: Harris pledged to overcome “hate and divisiveness” while Trump cautioned about a challenging future under Democratic leadership.
