In London, the Labor government fears a second Trump presidency

Accused of “interference” in the campaign by the Republican candidate, Keir Starmer fears a new mandate from the billionaire.

All summer, Keir Starmer worked to improve his relationship with Donald Trump. We should never insult the future, especially when polls paint it uncertain. But those efforts were derailed when an aide to the prime minister unintentionally detonated a little bombshell on LinkedIn. A very imprudent publication, proving, for the Republican candidate, the interference of British Labor in the campaign, by actively supporting Kamala Harris. Since then, the hatchet has been dug up.

Responsible for operations of the Labor Party, Sofia Patel claimed to have « almost 100 employees (or ex-employees) » ready to campaign for Kamala Harris in several « Pivotal States ». She added that there were still places for volunteers, offering to « to organize their accommodation ». Trump's legal team immediately filed an appeal with the US Federal Election Commission…
