All eyes will be on the United States to see whether Donald Trump or Kamala Harris will take over the country's presidency.
MEDIA – This is surely the most anticipated political news of the year, and it promises to be the most followed, even in France. The 2024 American presidential election between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump takes place this Tuesday, November 5 in the United States. All day long, Americans will go to their polling stations to decide who will sit in the White House next January.
Unlike back home, you shouldn't expect to know the name of the winner at a specific time. The results of the counts will come state by state, and since Americans also vote by mail, the counts sometimes take several days. Certain decisive “swing states” can therefore keep the suspense going for a while.
But many states should still give their results on Wednesday, November 6 morning, French time, and election night promises to be full of twists and turns and political analyses. THE HuffPost will continue its coverage of the US presidential election overnight, and potentially for days to come. To follow the first results live from your sofa, here are 5 shows to watch on the night of November 5 to 6.
