But it was the legend of Ms. Rousseau (already criticized by many female voices) which provoked the ire of Marjane Satrapi, according to which the mention “Our body, and everything we put on – or not – for clothing, belongs to us” would allude to the wearing of the veil (which the first defends and fights the second).
