Ready or not, it’s election time—and the “Best F**king News Team” has a big week in store. The Daily Show returns to Comedy Central tonight for a new round of episodes, including a live, hour-long election night special.

Tuesday night, Jon Stewart will deviate from his usual Mondays-only gig to host The Daily Show Presents a Live Election Night Special With Jon Stewart: Indecision 2024: Nothing We Can Do About It Now.

Comedy Central says the show’s quadrennial election results special will see Stewart & Co. provide “analysis, commentary, interviews, and tips on surviving the post-election breakdown of society.”

Joining Stewart Tuesday night will be three guests: Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, and Lieutenant Governor of Michigan Garlin Gilchrist II (notice a common theme here?).

Jordan Klepper is set to host tonight (filling in for Stewart), kicking things off with a conversation with Adam Serwer, a Staff Writer for The Atlantic. Desi Lydic will host Wednesday, joined by UNC professor and New York Times columnist Tressie McMillan Cottom. Ronny Chieng will round out the week as Thursday’s host; his guest is still TBD.

As of now, The Daily Show—which has been airing live election night specials since the 2000 presidential election—looks to have election night all to itself on the late-night front. The Late Show With Stephen Colbert went live for election night in both 2016 and 2020, but has no plans to do the same this time around.

The Daily Show Presents a Live Election Night Special With Jon Stewart: Indecision 2024: Nothing We Can Do About It Now will air on Tuesday, November 5 at 11 p.m. ET. In addition to Comedy Central, the special will be simulcast on MTV, Paramount Network, Land, CMT, Pop, and Logo. It will also be available to stream on Paramount+ and VOD next-day.
