TEMAX, YUC., November 4.- This Monday, the inhabitants of the San Antonio Cámara police station, Temax, blocked the Temax-Buctzotz federal highway to protest the lack of electricity that they have suffered for four days, however the Commission Federal Electricity (CFE) has already attended to the case.
It should be noted that the lack of electricity prevented them from accessing drinking water, which led them to take this desperate measure.
They remained in protest for at least 4 hours, until the road blockade achieved its objective, since personnel from the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) based in Motul arrived at the police station.
The Commission supervisor spoke with the protesters and promised to solve the problem, since the protesters would only cease their demonstration until the electrical service was restored.
CFE personnel worked immediately to reconnect the power, allowing vehicular traffic to resume.
