Naturally, Amazon is looking to unload some of its M3 MacBook Pro stock and, after seeing most models go completely out of stock just ahead of the M4 launch, we are tracking some notable price drops here today with as much $500 in savings on both 14-inch and 16-inch models. The real highlights we are tracking right now on M3 MacBook Pro models come by way of a pair of 14-inch configurations:
As we have reported already, Apple has now upped the ante on its Mac lineup, knocking off the 8GB RAM tier entirely in favor of base models that start with 16GB of RAM. The M3 MacBook Pro model above only has 8GB of RAM, but we are talking about a regularly $1,799 configuration with the upgraded 1TB of storage at $500 off here. The other option is the M3 Pro machine that comes stock with 18GB of RAM and is now $400 off the going rate – this is within $100 off the rare all-time low.
Needless to say, these are very much not the shiny new M4 notebooks from Apple. But they are still more than capable machines and, depending now what you use them for, will likely remain as such for more than a couple years. They are both Apple Intelligence ready and join some great deals we are tracking right now on the MacBook Air models that might be better suited for some folks:
