Catalonia and the province of Castellón is on orange alert (significant risk) due to rain of up to 50 liters per square meter in one hour and strong storms that may be accompanied by hail.
The orange alert will remain in Catalonia until noon and in the province of Castellón until 9:00 a.m., according to the forecasts from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
On the northern coast of Tarragona, up to 50 liters per square meter may accumulate in one hour and over a period of twelve hours up to 150 liters per square meterand these quantities are also expected in the pre-coastal and southern coastal zone of the province.
The north of Cáceres and the lower Aragón area of Teruel are also under warning for heavy rains although the risk level is lower, yellow.
Alert in Bajo Llobregat
Civil Protection has sent a alert mobile phones of the Baix Llobregat due to the continued and torrential rains that are currently falling on this Barcelona region, which are expected to continue for the next hour.

Schools closed in 22 municipalities of Valencia
In the Valencian Community, stormy showers will continue during the morning, being especially intense on the northern coast of Valencia. Temperatures will remain unchanged or will experience a slight rise and the wind will blow moderately from the northeast on the coast and will be softer from the east in the interior.
Given this situation and after the devastation that DANA has caused in the autonomous community, a total of 22 municipalities of Valencia have informed the Department of Education that they will not be able to provide educational services during this week, from November 4 to 8, while others have moved specific closures. Education has reported that it has exceptionally authorized public preschool and primary schools to welcome students from the affected areas next week.
