Today, divorce is very commonplace, but in the 80s and 90s, we were actually ashamed”she explained. “And in addition to the shame of having divorced, there is also the fact of not having money, it’s complicated”continued the former beauty queen. In order to provide for the family's needs, Sylvie Tellier's mother finds a paid job “at the minimum wage” in a shoe store.
