A prominent person from the show “Bauer sucht Frau” is now speaking on the Internet about poverty in old age and explaining her plans to provide her family with financial security.

Namibia – Anna (34) and Gerald (39) Heiser, known from the RTL dome show “Bauer sucht Frau”, met and fell in love in 2017. Anna, born in Poland, moved to Namibia for Gerald and regularly gives her around 233,000 Instagram followers insights into her farm life and speaks openly about setbacks and fears, including poverty in old age. During a visit to Poland, Heiser revealed that she and her husband have “no retirement savings.”

Regarding retirement planning, the star of “Bauer sucht Frau” explained in an Instagram story that she is currently in Gdansk to attend an important appointment. Heiser decided to “buy an apartment in Poland. Or rather, one large one, which is then divided into three.” However, the Heisers do not plan to move into the apartment themselves.

The influencer explains that the purpose of buying the apartment is to secure oneself for old age: “It’s purely an investment because we don’t have any retirement provisions. In Namibia you have to protect yourself.” The apartment is an investment property for Heiser and her family and she hopes that she “will be spared from poverty in old age”.

Anna Heiser from “Bauer sucht Frau” lives in Namibia: No plans to return to Europe

It is unclear whether Heiser wants to keep the option of returning to Europe open by purchasing the apartment in Poland. However, there is currently nothing to indicate this. Last year, when asked whether she could imagine a life in Europe, Heiser said: “For Gerald, it’s not an option at all. I have now gotten used to life in Namibia and feel comfortable here in our ‘farm bubble’, far away from wars.”

However, she does not completely rule out a return. “If living conditions forced us to do so, I would of course move to Europe,” Heiser said at the time. The family has to deal with repeated setbacks on the farm, most recently a water shortage. Anna Heiser, known from “Bauer sucht Frau”, also recently questioned her abilities as a mother.
