“Shut your mouth, you! We're going to take care of you. We're going to explain ourselves outside, you'll see. We're going to go outside; we're going to take care of you.” Here are the threats made within the National Assembly by the Insoumis deputy Thomas Portes against several RN elected officials. “As soon as you don't think like the LFI, as soon as you criticize them, they threaten you,” reports Laurent Jacobelli, deputy for Moselle and spokesperson for the RN, at Cyril Hanouna's microphone.
“They are calling for aggression”
And to continue: “These people don’t like democracy, they want to impose their ideas by force.” Moreover, “a certain number of these deputies, when they meet their colleagues in the corridor, physically intimidate them”, assures Laurent Jacobelli at the microphone of “On marche sur la tête”. “The atmosphere in the National Assembly is terrible, we have the impression of having suburban bosses […] not colleagues. We cannot work in these conditions.”
A situation which can, moreover, explode according to the RN deputy, since he predicts that in these conditions, “one day, we will really move on to violence”. “They are calling for aggression! And tomorrow, I am afraid that if Yaël Braun-Pivet [la présidente de l’Assemblée nationale, ndlr] don't bang your fist on the table, people will take action, heated to death by these completely irresponsible people.”
