Narchomicides: in , investigation opened after the broadcast of a video attributed to the DZ Mafia

Of the hooded men who claim to be part of the DZ Mafia released a video this Wednesday morning on social networks, where they deny any connection with the two narchomicides from last week in .

A very unusual video facing which the police opened an investigation. “The investigations entrusted to SIPJ 13 and the Anti-Cybercrime Office aim to authenticate this video and identify the people who are at its origin”wrote the Marseille prosecutor’s office in a press release this Wednesday evening.

People who present themselves as “members of the DZ Mafia” deny having organized the assassinations of a 15-year-old teenager and a VTC driver which took place on October 2 and 4. In the video posted on social networks, they changed their voices.

This is the first time a video like this has been spread in the world of narco-banditry. Its format is reminiscent of the communication of the clandestine movement of the Corsican National Liberation Front, except that the men of the FLNC appeared armed.

Last week, a 23-year-old detainee claiming to be from the DZ Mafia was commissioned from his cell in Aix-Luynes prison for revenge against a competitor. He claimed to have commissioned a 15-year-old boy, but the contract went badly because he was ultimately killed by fifty stab wounds on October 2. An act described as “unprecedented savagery” by the floor. To take revenge, the 23-year-old inmate then recruited a 14-year-old hitman on social networks. There too, revenge turned into tragedy and led to the death of a collateral victim, a VTC driver, last Friday.

The Ministry of Justice calls for an inspection of the prison

After these two narchomicides, the Department of Justice requested an inspection on the functioning of the Aix-Luynes penitentiary center. “I have decided to carry out an inspection entrusted to the General Inspectorate of Justice concerning the operation of this penitentiary center”indicated Minister of Justice Didier Migaud. “I wish I knew why all this happened.”

No date has been given at this time. Didier Migaud also indicated his intention to “return soon” in the Marseille city, for a visit with the Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau.
